Our vision is simple to provide our clients with the finest fresh flowers, either by the stem or prepared and made up into breathtaking displays fit for any occasion, as well as exquisite and delicious afternoon teas.
Our purpose is to brighten up otherwise dull and drecht days and to excite all your senses.
Flower and Flour is the brainchild of Rob Hedderwick who is fast developing a reputation for his skill with flowers and pastries, he worked in London for some of the capital’s leading florists including NB Flowers and in his spare time he took himself off and trained at Le Cordon Bleu. He subsequently honed his patisserie skills with the Lanesborough Hotel and at the michelin star Yuauatcha restaurant in the heart of London's west end.
Rob's interest in flowers and patisserie can be traced back to his childhood in the foothills of the Lammermuir hills in the picturesque county of East Lothian. He grew up in the family home with its enchanting gardens of wide herbaceous borders, glorious roses, water lilies, herbs and wild meadow flowers. Cold winter weekends were filled with cooking and baking with his two older siblings under the eye of their father. It was a way to completely fill a day in a deliciously constructive way.
So it's not surprising that Flower and Flour has developed into what it is today.
"Rob Hedderwick is an extraordinary gifted chap. Huge eye for details, colour and a vast range of skills. His range seems to be endless. A great ideas man."
