Flower and Flour is the brainchild of Rob Hedderwick who is fast developing a reputation for his skill with flowers and pastries. Rob worked in London for some of the capitals leading florists, including NB Flowers, and in his spare time trained at Le Cordon Bleu. He subsequently refined his patisserie skills at the Lanesborough Hotel, Knightsbridge and at the Michelin star Yauatcha restaurant in the heart of Soho.
Rob's interest in flowers and patisserie can be traced back to his childhood in the foothills of the Lammermuirs in the picturesque region of East Lothian, south east of Edinburgh. Rob grew up in the family home and its enchanting gardens of wide herbaceous borders, glorious roses, water lilies, herbs and wild meadow flowers. Weekends were filled with cooking and baking with his two older siblings under the guiding eye of their father.
